Learn to Meditate – 4 week course – October

Have you always wanted to Learn to Meditate? Learning to Meditate is not difficult, but like any learning experience requires teaching and some effort. This course focuses on obtaining the correct posture, practicing various types of meditation and assists in setting up a daily practice.

The course is quite extensive. We cover posture, 9 round breathing exercise, motivations and dedications, candle exercise, body scanning and mindfulness, visualisation and walking meditation.

India Wallace has a “Meditation Teachers” certificate from The Gawler Foundation and currently teaches “Learn to Meditate” at Buddha House. As a practicing Buddhist she has been meditating for many years and offers practical advice to motivate you and begin your own Meditation Journey.

Situated in the serenity of the Adelaide Hills, take advantage of the many restaurants, stores and markets either after or before your meditation. Only 10 minutes up the freeway!

Numbers are limited so please book asap to ascertain your space.

Cost: $100 (inclusive) includes notes, audio’s and gift.

Course Dates & Times

Thursday October 8, 15, 22 & 29   – 9.30 am to 10.30 am

Perfect for after school drop off.

Saturday October 10, 17, 24 & 31   – 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm

Head to the hills, invite a friend and take advantage of visiting the many restaurants and cafe’s in the area or take a walk in the picturesque Adelaide Hills before the session. My recommendations are “Patch” particularly if you have younger children and “Miss Perez” for amazing Tapas.  Also can’t go past the iconic “Stirling Organic Market and Cafe.”

Please note: The final session of each course (week 4) will be 1 1/2 hours duration.

(please note you can do a combination of days, eg: some Thursdays and some Saturdays as long as you keep them in order.)

 I have tried to learn meditation at various times throughout my life.A class here and there, but never found time to sustain it as a practice. 

Life got in the way. Other demands on my time. 

I have come to a stage in my life, where I don’t filter the stresses in life as well as my younger years. I decided mediation was a good tool for my future years, and what challenges might lie ahead. 

India’s classes were over and above my expectations. 

From the moment I met her, the care she took to arrange the room for our comfort, the hot herbal tea on arrival, the notes carefully written and provided in our own folder. 

Her teachings, the practice education, her personal interest in our Journey, and her sincere desire to enrich our lives with this ancient tool – gives me every reason to recommend India and her classes to everyone.
